Experiencing "island withdrawal" since I can't get back to Lopez until the end of this month. I miss the water, the silence, the solitude, the beauty, everyone waving to me, and most of all, the peace.
And instead of packing up numerous projects to take with me for this next trip, I am going to try to curtail creative endeavors to provide space and time to work on my book. I certainly have been neglecting it. Using my island retreat was one of my arguments in favor of buying Anadaré, after all.
Hopefully I will create a schedule conducive to writing, but still including walks to the beach, playing the harp, and working on small projects in the evenings. That's the plan, at least.
