Black Rose

Will have an easier class today (after our 12 hour marathon with Day Star) weaving Black Rose.  This small little tray just delights me because it contains so many different weaving techniques, worked in materials of different proportions from most of my baskets.  It is also one of the favorites with students that have already woven it.

I'm actually using one as a coaster at home....probably not the best use, since the black is waxed linen, But it hasn't melted....yet.
